Have you ever ask a young child what they want to be when they grow up? You usually get an answer along the lines of “Doctor Astronaut Fireman Cowboy”. Well ever since I was young, I always told people I wanted to be an artist. All these years later and I am starting to realize I functionally gave the same answer as all of the aspiring Dr. Marshall Astro Wrustlers out there.
It seems like in this field one must constantly learn new tools and skill sets, and I don't know if I'd want it any other way. I am regularly exploring complex or intriguing concepts, always endeavoring to broaden and strengthen my skill set. I enjoy working with a team to complete a project, but can just as easily operate solo and manage myself if need be. I thrive in a work environment with a lot of variety of tasks; being as comfortable physically working in a shop or on site as I am behind a computer in the office.
As a result of my at times rather esoteric fascinations, I have quite the vast knowledge base of all manner of odd facts and subjects. If you ever need to know what classic Universal movie monster Vincent Price played, I’m your guy!
…It was the Invisible Man: Not in the original movie, that was Claude Rains, but in the sequel...
I also enjoy movies, games (table top and digital), graphic novels, un-graphic novels, podcasts, documentaries, let’s plays, and in case you were afraid I never see the sunlight, I also regularly go hiking, camping, and even occasionally try and hit the gym (less it hit me first).
